The operator

Ryan Silve is Director of Retail at Redi, which recently acquired four AYR Wellness stores in Massachusetts and has two more coming online in 2027. He is one of the most data-driven buyers around. His process starts in Happy Cabbage, where he reviews sell-through velocity and a recommended order, then works Superbud side by side to key it in, buying off flavor profiles and historic strain performance rather than gut.

The challenge

Before Superbud, ordering Cali Blaze meant shared spreadsheets, emails, and phone calls. Ryan would get the menu email, build his order against his data, send it to his sales rep, and then wait, often to find out which of his picks were now out of stock and needed replacing. For a buyer driving every decision off sell-through and flavor-profile analysis, that lag was especially painful, and it stretched the Cali Blaze purchasing process from a few hours into a couple of days.

With Superbud Order

Now Ryan works his own process, plugged into live inventory. He pulls his recommended order in Happy Cabbage, brings up Superbud alongside it, and keys the order against what is actually available. The back-and-forth over out-of-stocks and inventory changes is largely gone, and he orders for all six stores in about 20 minutes.

I run everything off sell-through and flavor-profile data. The old process, spreadsheet, email, send it to my rep, then wait to find out what's out of stock, turned a few hours into a couple of days. On Superbud I'm plugged into live inventory and I can order all six stores in about 20 minutes.

  • Ready to scale: a process that holds as Redi grows to eight stores in 2027.
  • Rated highly: 9/10 on menu UI and support, 8/10 on the ordering process overall.
